William Ash is an associate in the Irvine Office. Mr. Ash regularly assists many of the firm’s city clients with a wide variety of matters, ranging from open government and ethics (including the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, and the Political Reform Act) public contracting, litigation, and ordinances and resolutions.
Mr. Ash works with many city clients on day-to-day matters such as legal research and drafting of legal opinions, review and revision of legal documents produced by cities, and preparation of staff reports.
Mr. Ash earned his BA in history from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2014. While he attended the University of Notre Dame Law School until 2018, Mr. Ash participated in the Community Development Clinic and clerked for Circuit Court Judge John Broden. Mr. Ash also interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Santa Ana City Attorney’s Office. He graduated with his JD in 2018.
