Robert M. Hensley


Robert Hensley is an associate with the firm and handles a wide variety of legal matters, representing public entities in litigation, employment, and transactional matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Robert worked as a Deputy Attorney General with the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General, representing state agencies and individuals in complex labor and employment disputes, administrative law matters, represented state agencies in petitions for writ of mandate, and other regulatory matters.

Robert previously worked in private practice, defending individuals and entities in labor and employment cases, workers’ compensation, general liability, personal injury, wrongful death, and breach of contract matters.

Robert attended law school at Western State College of Law, where he earned his J.D. in 2015. He externed with the Los Angeles County District Attorney, conducting misdemeanor and felony preliminary hearings, and assisting attorneys in criminal trials.

Robert graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2011 with a B.S in Economics and a minor in Environmental Studies.

In his down time, Robert enjoys going on road trips, hiking and backpacking, searching for (and eating) great food, and spending time with his dog.
