Payam Mostafavi is an associate in the Irvine Office. Payam regularly assists many of the firm’s city clients with a wide variety of matters, ranging from open government and ethics (including the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, and the Political Reform Act), public contracting, public works, and ordinances and resolutions.
Payam works with many city clients on day-to-day matters such as legal research and drafting of legal opinions, review and revision of legal documents produced by cities, contract drafting, analysis and drafting of proposed ordinances and resolutions, and preparation of staff reports.
Payam received his J.D. from Chapman University School of Law in Orange, California. During law school, Payam was a board member of the Diversity and Social Justice Forum as well as a Teaching Assistant for the Transactional Law course.
Payam received his B.A. degree in Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
