Juliette Tran is an associate in the Los Angeles office. Ms. Tran joined the firm as a summer law clerk, and continues her career at the firm specializing in litigation, code enforcement, and other areas concerning municipalities.
Ms. Tran received her J.D. from UCLA School of Law. While pursuing her law degree, Ms. Tran served as one of the Co-Chairs for the Public Counsel CARES (Connecting Angelinos to Resources and Essential Services) Clinic. As one of the Co-Chairs for the clinic, Ms. Tran helped individuals overcome legal obstacles and administrative barriers in order to receive their public benefits (i.e. cash aid and food assistance) by advocating on their behalf. Ms. Tran also served as Co-Chief Comments Editor of the Asian Pacific American Law Journal.
During law school, Ms. Tran gained broad legal experience externing in both state and federal court. She externed for the Honorable Kirk H. Nakamura of the Orange County Superior Court wherein she helped write a feature in the Orange County Lawyer titled “Dwellings on California Foreclosure Law: The New Homeowner’s Bill of Rights.” In her second to final semester of law school, Ms. Tran externed for the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Ms. Tran received her B.A., magna cum laude, from University of California, Irvine where she double majored in Political Science and International Studies.
