Janene McIntyre is a member of Aleshire & Wynder’s Public Finance Practice Group. Janene has dedicated her career to helping communities and institutions thrive by navigating the complexities of municipal finance.
She possesses extensive expertise in public finance, serving as bond counsel, note counsel, borrower’s counsel, and underwriter’s counsel for a wide variety of municipal issuers, including schools, universities, cities, counties, states, and their affiliated agencies and districts, as well as financial institutions.
Janene’s practice covers a range of financing structures, including tax-exempt and taxable financings, fixed and variable rate financings, general obligation and revenue financings, unlimited and limited tax financings, conduit financings, finance leases, and operating cash flow borrowings.
In addition, Janene has served as a city attorney, most notably as the City Attorney of Lansing, Michigan, where she provided strategic legal counsel on numerous complex municipal matters, helping the city navigate the challenges and opportunities of modern governance.
