Brendan is a senior associate based in the Oakland office whose practice is mostly focused on environmental and land use law. Before joining Aleshire & Wynder, Brendan cultivated his legal career practicing personal injury, product liability, toxic tort, and workers’ compensation. With his legal writing and research abilities, experience appearing in court, and communication skills, he capably guides clients through all aspects of the litigation process.
Brendan is a Bay Area native who earned his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law, where he received the Witkin and CALI Awards for Criminal Law. As a student, he worked for the Environmental Law and Justice Clinic. Additionally, Brendan served on the Board of Directors for the GGU Sports and Entertainment Law Club and was an active member of the Environmental Law Society and APALSA. Brendan’s other degrees include a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a Masters of Resources Law Studies from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, with a Certificate of Specialization in Land Use Law & Policy. Brendan was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Environmental Litigation in 2024 and 2025.
